FAQs

Some commonly asked questions and the fucking answers! If there are any questions you’ve got that aren’t covered here please feel free to send an email to hello@fuckyeahweddings or contact me through the contact form so we can chat!

  • Heck No! While I do specialize in working with couples that are part of traditionally marginalized communities, I work with many cis/het couples as well! Fuck Yeah Weddings doesn’t discriminate based on age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, culture or any other protected identity.

  • While many photographers take on multiple weddings per weekend, I do not. I want to make sure that I’m at my best, well rested and ready to give 100% to you on your wedding day!

  • Travel within Western Washington and to the greater Portland, Oregon area is included with all photography bookings. Outside of this area (or for event coordination clients) travel is charged at cost, plus a small per diem to cover meals/incidentals while I am away from home for your wedding!

  • First thing is to contact me though the form up top! Click “LETS TALK” and fill out the basics about yourselves and your wedding. Once that hits my inbox I’ll check my calendar to see if I am available, and send back an email with either my regrets, or an invitation to schedule a Zoom consultation so we can talk in real time! After that you’ll get a quote detailing the hours and inclusions for your wedding that we discussed. If you decide to move forward with booking. (YAY!!!) you’ll need to accept the quote, sign the contract and pay the 50% retainer fee to make it all fucking official!

  • Yes, but not all of them!
Hit me up via the contact form to see if I’m available for your holiday wedding.

I do not book weddings January 24, March 8, PRIDE weekend (last weekend in June), September 16, September 27, Halloween, or the last two weeks in December (NYE bookings on a case by case basis.) All other dates/holidays I am available! I also do not charge any additional fees or higher prices for holiday bookings.

  • I book a maximum number of 15 weddings per year for photography, including photography with coordination. I will take on an additional 5 weddings for event management/coordination each year on a case by case basis. This allows me to not get burned out, to bring my best to all my clients and have a good work/life balance with my family!
